The symposium will be held in Kazan, a beautiful
city located on the bank of the Volga river, 800 km from Moscow. It occupies
the territory of 425,3 square kilometers and has the population of 1,11
million people, represented by more than 101 nationalities. On August 30,
2005, Kazan celebrated the millennium of its foundation.
There are scheduled flights to Kazan from Frankfurt at Main, St. Petersburg
and Moscow. Kazan can also be reached from Moscow by night train.
Conference buses will meet all attendees in Kazan airport and at the

An introductory 2-day course in chemometrics will be held in the host organization
of the symposium
Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering.
The scientific WSC-6 activities will take place in the
recreation
center “Deep lake” at the suburbs of Kazan. The attendees will live at the
same place in the comfortable cottages. Russian banya (sauna) and
cross-country ski will be available. A special building will be used for
sessions, meals, and, of course, for the traditional “Scores and Loadings”
meeting.
